How do I care for my hat?If you take great care of your hat, it will be a special treasure for years to come! Keep that investment sparkling, babe! Here are some tips on how to care for your hat: To keep dust from piling up on your hat, use a soft brush (you can grab our custom hat brush here!) and gently brush counter-clockwise starting at the left side of the hat. Hang your hat on a wall instead of laying it flat on the brim. Check out our macrame hat hanger here! If your hat has a curled brim, store it upside down on its crown (on a clean surface of course) or use a hat box to avoid damaging the brim. Try to avoid getting your hat wet, but if it happens, shake off the excess water immediately. Then allow the hat to dry naturally by hanging or setting on a clean, flat surface. To spot clean your light-colored hat, use a little baby talc or corn starch. Do not use a liquid cleaner. It's always best to start with a small section to ensure it won't damage the hat further.
